Mountain

This work is three-dimensional Korean paper sculpture and installation work. Hanji has the rare ability of functioning as part of an ancient tradition, and as a modern and experimental medium. Mountain sculptures are arrived through experiment, with the creating of sculptural, three-dimensional objects working only with Dak - mulberry fibre - the core material of Hanji, without use of other materials.

한지를 현대적이고 실험적인 소재로 삼아 완성된 입체 한지 조각 및 설치 작업이다. 다른 재료를 사용하지 않고 한지의 핵심 소재인 닥(닥나무 섬유) 만으로 조각적이고 입체적으로 제작되었다.
